Job description for System Engineer Satellite Interception Systems (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a System Engineer Satellite Interception Systems (m/f/d) for our client.

Your tasks.

• Development and integration of system architectures for satellite-based interception and surveillance systems
• Analysis and optimization of communication and signal processing technologies
• Development and implementation of algorithms for the detection and analysis of satellite communications
• System design, specification and validation of hardware and software components
• Conducting tests, simulations and commissioning of system components
• Creation of technical documentation and support in certification processes.
• Cooperation with national and international partners in the field of satellite monitoring

Your profile .

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science or a comparable field
• Experience in system development, preferably in the field of satellite communications, signal processing or interception systems
• Knowledge in the development of high-frequency and communication systems as well as relevant software solutions
• Experience with tools for simulating and analyzing satellite communications (e.g., MATLAB, STK, GNU Radio)
• Understanding of cryptography, cybersecurity, and security architectures of communication systems is advantageous.
• Analytical thinking, structured work methods, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Security clearance (Ü2 or higher) is advantageous or willingness to undergo a security clearance is required.
