WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer or system engineer
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, algorithms and data structures
• Familiarity with version control systems, build tools, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a System Engineer (Software) at VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD.’, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software solutions that support the company’s operations and services. This is a full-time position based in the Lavender Central Region, and you will be an integral part of the software engineering team, contributing to the strategic objectives of the business.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Analysing and understanding business requirements to design and develop efficient, reliable and scalable software applications
• Writing clean, well-documented code using best practices and industry standards
• Participating in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
• Troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues in a timely manner
• Continuously exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance the software solutions
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the software engineering team
