The Fuel BU is a world leader in the manufacture of fuels for nuclear power plants and research reactors in the world with R&D, design and plant centers on the American and European continent.
Framatome is implementing a new factory for the assembly of fuels for the operation of nuclear power plants in the United Kingdom. This plant will be built in phases to meet short, medium and long-term objectives.
The investment project is led by Framatome and must be innovative to meet the challenges of the company and the United Kingdom.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your mission is to support the design architect to deliver a project as per the system engineering standards defined for the project. It considers at least requirements, interfaces, configuration and BIM. Acting in a project owner role, the support given to engineering and contractors is essential to the success of the project.
You will be directly managed by the Design Architect, in charge of the overall technical consistency.
The majority of the project activities will take place in UK where the site is located and with limited travels to France or Germany.

MISSION DESCRIPTION

  • Define and deploy system engineering (SE) methods, on complex systems or projects, within a team, in compliance with standards customer standards, schedules and budgets
  • Carry out activities in at least three core SE disciplines (requirements management, interfaces management and configuration management) among those identified in the internal SE reference
  • Provide regular technical support to the design architect or the construction manager, as well as expert support on SE methods to engineers, designers and architects
  • Verify that the SE disciplines it controls are taken into account in the work carried out within the project
  • Propose solutions to solve technical, quality or other problems and, if necessary, changes in work techniques and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Present internally, to clients and the internal management of the BU, the results of the synthesis of the activities on the SE disciplines, carried out within the framework of the project reviews
  • Lead internal and external training courses in its technical field
  • Managed engineering companies and contractors on its area of activity
  • Contribute, in support of the architects, to the definition of the SE strategy and a project organization integrating the SE
