Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a System Excellence Manager to join the James Fisher Defence team and drive system improvements in the organisation at all levels. You will work on ensuring that the foundation is built for improvements and aligning overall strategy with the deliverables. The focus of the role will be to drive standardisation, optimisation and digital transformation where appropriate, helping to promote the digital as an enabler across all business functions. This role will improve business results by driving initiatives to meet the requirements of our customers and our strategy.
The role can be based in either Aberdeen or Inchinnan, and we offer hybrid working.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a system platform for growth, and defined system improvement plans.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the systems excellence team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Keep up with and implement best practice to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of system-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure systems and processes meet business requirements.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement.
