Position Overview RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Software Integration & Test Engineer to join our growing team. This role is vital to ensuring the quality and reliability of our POS solutions across Windows and Android platforms. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, validating complex integrations, and ensuring seamless releases. Responsibilities Develop and maintain integration, system, acceptance, and Android UI test plans aligned with functional requirements. Create and optimize automated regression test suites using tools like Python, C#/MSTest, Kotlin/Java (Espresso, Robolectric), and integrate them with Azure DevOps CI pipelines. Validate and troubleshoot integrations with third-party services including payment gateways, tax services, and e-commerce platforms. Automate tests for a variety of peripherals across devices (barcode scanners, scales, signature pads, etc.). Investigate and document test failures across desktop, web, and Android platforms, collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Present quality metrics and maintain comprehensive documentation on test results and defects. Continuously enhance testing environments, device labs, test data, and tools to ensure reliable releases. Qualifications Experience in writing automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Robot Framework. Proficiency in at least one language used in test automation (e.g., C#, Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Solid understanding of SQL for query writing and data validation. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps). Nice-to-Have Skills: Background in testing POS, payment systems, or retail technology. Experience with Android UI testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, Robolectric) or Kotlin-based development. ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
