As a System Integration Engineer, you will work at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, software, and real-world operations. You will not only design and test systems but also see them deployed and used by customers in the field.
We are looking for engineers who enjoy hands-on problem solving, interdisciplinary teamwork, and taking responsibility for complete systems rather than individual components. If you are eager to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in a unique and challenging environment.
Your Tasks
System Integration & Testing
- Integrate mechanical components, electronics, embedded systems, and software into fully functional subsea and underwater systems
- Plan, assemble, configure, and test systems from subsystem level through final product acceptance
- Perform system verification and validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and interface-related issues
- Modify, upgrade, and convert existing systems according to customer requirements
Engineering & System Design
- Contribute to system design and engineering activities throughout product development
- Support system decomposition, requirements evaluation, and interface definition
- Prepare electrical block diagrams and cable layouts
- Perform power and memory consumption analysis
- Program and configure embedded electronics, data acquisition, and logging systems where required
- Coordinate integration activities between mechanical, electronics, and software teams to ensure seamless system functionality
Customer Support & Field Deployment
- Support customers during commissioning, deployment, and operation of systems
- Provide on-site training and remote technical assistance
- Perform service, maintenance, and repair activities both in-house and at customer locations
- Participate in field deployments, including occasional offshore assignments
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain integration procedures, test plans, and technical documentation
- Prepare test reports, calibration records, user manuals, and system documentation
- Document technical knowledge and lessons learned in internal Wiki-based systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering and business processes
Production & Logistics Support
- Create bills of materials and procurement lists
- Support production preparation and system build activities
- Prepare systems for shipment, including documentation, serial number management, and packing requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage project tasks, materials, and timelines
