System Integration Engineer We are looking for a highly talented system integration engineer to join our team. This role includes the expectation and requirement to participate in an Extended Business Trip (EBT) of up to one year in the US, Asia, or another location, subject to business needs. What’s in it for you? As part of our team, you will work together with great people , hands-on with one of the most complex multi-disciplinary systems in the market, putting into practice many of the fields from your studies. Our Group: The System integration Engineer group team is responsible for system integration of all Applied-Israel’s tools before shipment to the customer. In addition, we lead R&D prototypes and new products in the organization , with large exposure to the most advanced technologies such as precise mechanics, electronics, motion and optics. What you'll be doing: The system integration engineer gets a fully assembled tool. His job is to calibrate and test a multi-disciplinary system, in clean room environment, from start to end until shipment to the customer including complicated troubleshooting, investigation and engineering solutions proposal. Since we are taking about a multi-disciplinary system involving several modules and disciplines, such as EBeam (Electron-beam Microscopy), high-end optics, lasers, precise mechanics, RF, motion and control etc., the essence of our work requires high system understanding and deep engineering knowledge. you will lead or assist field installations or upgrade/Maintenance activity of semiconductor systems in-house and at customer’s sites. Be Part of a wide support team with multiple responsibilities including tools integration, field & home tools support. EBT Expectations: Participation in an EBT is a core requirement of this role. Eligibility for an EBT will be evaluated after approximately 6–12 months of training as a System Integration Engineer. If approved, the EBT may include 6–12 months of temporary relocation to the US, Asia, or another site, depending on organizational needs. The timing, duration, and location of any EBT will be determined solely by the company based on business priorities, field needs, and product maturity. Upon completion of the EBT (if carried out), the employee will return to the System Integration Engineer position What you should have? BSc in Mechanical / Electrical Engineer or a related field of Engineering - A must Experience 1-3 years in technical work Relevant technical experience: System integration experience or other high complexity technical background Team player, Highly Creative and Proactive High level of independent work with constant drive for improvement High level of English communication skills (Verbal and writing) Ability to obtain a valid passport Who we are?
