WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for a System Integration Engineer to join our Delivery Project Services (DPS) team.
This person will be required to deliver Instrumentation & Controls solutions for renewable projects covering a spectrum of hardware and software solutions, and to provide support for these project solutions from conception to completion.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Providing support to assist with the completion of specialised control systems design and support services for several control systems including Allen Bradley PLC systems, AVEVA/Citect SCADA and/or Siemens T3000, control and SCADA systems
- Providing specialised design and support services for various communications networks
- Reviewing of supplier documentation to ensure deliverables are consistently checked, accurate and presentable
When required, attend supplier’s premises for the purposes of software and hardware testingWhen required, attend site for the purposes of commissioning control systems and communications networks.
What you will bring to the team:
- A minimum of 2 years post graduate control systems design experience, preferably in the resources or renewables sector
- Exposure to software programming, FAT, IST, SAT and project handover is desirable
- Exposure to preparing control system functional specifications and functional descriptions (control philosophies)
- Industrial communications knowledge, especially network protocols, network design including fibre-optics, preparing network and FOBOT interconnection and block diagrams
Experience in preparing equipment data sheets for instruments, valves and communications equipmentPrevious site-based experience / knowledge is desirable.
