Description

  • Development and elaboration of technical system concepts for complex high-tech applications
  • Recording, structuring and evaluating functional and technical requirements
  • Derivation of system requirements and definition of relevant interfaces between individual subsystems
  • Participation in the design and further development of system architectures
  • Technical coordination between software, hardware, electronics, mechanics and testing departments
  • Support for system integration, commissioning, verification and validation activities
  • Analysis of system behavior and support in investigating complex technical error patterns
  • Creation and maintenance of system specifications, interface descriptions and technical development documentation
  • Evaluation of technical solution options with regard to functionality, feasibility and system performance
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary development and project teams across various phases of the product development process

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mechatronics, systems engineering or a comparable technical field
  • Professional experience or initial practical experience in the development, integration or design of complex technical systems
  • Experience in dealing with technical requirements, system architectures or interface definitions is an advantage.
  • A good understanding of the interplay between different technical disciplines and components
  • Knowledge of requirements engineering, system integration, verification or validation is desirable.
  • Experience in safety-critical or regulated sectors such as Defence & Aerospace, Automotive, Railway, Medical Technology or industrial systems development is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Enjoyment of collaborating with different technical departments
  • Good German and English skills
