Your area of ​​responsibility

  • Design, configuration and installation of (IT) hardware and software components
  • Setup and maintenance of complex, heterogeneous laboratory and test environments (Windows and Linux), including servers, clients, IP networks and virtual machines
  • Development of concepts for the manual and automated installation and configuration of complex, distributed IT simulation systems
  • Maintenance and further development of existing systems, including adjustments and troubleshooting of software and hardware configurations.
  • Conception, creation and monitoring of hardware and system monitoring
  • Automation of build and release processes along the CI/CD pipeline through the creation of scripts and programs.
  • Testing integrated systems according to specifications and creating simulation scenarios
  • Close collaboration within an agile team including systems engineering, software development, testing, and DevOps.

Our expectations of you

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable field
  • Prior professional experience in software development and system integration is advantageous.
  • Solid technical knowledge in software and server hardware as well as in modern processes, methods and tools is required.
  • Prior experience in software and build pipeline development (e.g., C++, Python, Jenkins or Bamboo) is required.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, Docker, or Podman) is desirable.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
