  • EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of direct experience in facilities, IT, Defence, or site services operational roles.Previous experience in a server room environment.2+ years in a large matrix organization.Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and translating operational requirements into actionable deliverables.Experience managing site operations in accordance with local laws and company policies.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Project management experience/qualifications are a plus
Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities/Daily Operations:
Operations Management & User Support: Oversee daily activities, ensuring smooth operations, timely maintenance, and effective resource allocation with Information, Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S)
Provide SIL focused technical support to users, maintain facilities compliance and monitor support systems for notifications and reliability, facilitate SIL logistics, and raise Non-conformance Reports (NCRs)
Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and addressing resource allocation conflicts to optimize workflows.
Compliance with regulations: ensure that the operations of the SIL comply with Boeing and Defence policies including the Defence Cabling Standards, the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).

Change and Quality Managemen

  • tChange Coordination: Lead the change process for SIL shared facilities, assessing requests to minimize disruption.Quality Safety and Security Monitoring: Ensure compliance with quality, safety and security standards through regular reviews, risk assessments, and after-hours support for critical systems.
  • ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY (EHS) AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT:EHS Compliance and Assurance: Coordinate and maintain all EHS, hazardous substances and electrical safety risk assessments, registers and assurance activitiesEHS Management Plans and Documentation: Develop, implement, maintain, manage, and document systems and processes to ensure compliance.Ensure the safe and appropriate storage, handling, and disposal of all laboratory or workspace materialsEHS Risk Management: develop and maintain appropriate EHS risk assessments and processes while ensuring compliance through inspections and audits. Identify safety hazards and oversee safety equipment, implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensuring the safe, appropriate storage, handling, and disposal of all laboratory or workspace materials.EHS Incident Management: Act as the first point of contact for SIL incidents, coordinating corrective actions
  • ACCESS MANAGEMENTAccess Control: Manage access to SIL facilities, maintain a key safe register, conduct inductions for new users, and coordinate access for Defence stakeholders and contractors.Resource Utilization: Monitor resource utilization, providing reports on capacity and identifying needs for expansion or reconfiguration.

Secondary Responsibilities - Facility Management Support (as required):
Contractor Coordination: Assist in coordinating and escorting contractors for facilities and site services
Communication Support: Relay updates on floor plans, employee movements, and relevant policies to the Site Services team, and manage communications with building occupants regarding facility activities, planned works, and power outages.
Compliance Oversight: Support in regular inspections of contractor works to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
Induction Facilitation: Help facilitate site inductions for new staff, contractors, and personnel.
