KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

As interim System Integration Lead Plans & Arrangements and Mechanical your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and deliver comprehensive Verification & Validation documentation.
  • Oversee and coordinate a team of engineers and technical specialists.
  • Ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems and compliance with specifications.
  • Manage client documentation reviews and approvals.
  • Lead Design Reviews, address technical escalations, and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT).Be the technical authority on system integration, ensuring flawless execution.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To excel as interim System Integration Lead Plans & Arrangements and Mechanical, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Shipbuilding or related discipline.
  • Minimum five years of experience in shipbuilding, offshore, or a similar industry.
  • Deep expertise in Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interior & Deck, and Structures.
  • Proven leadership in complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ability to navigate technical challenges, ensuring seamless system integration.
  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent references antecedents as a pre-assignment security screening is part of the recruitment procedure.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
  • Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As System Integration Lead Plans & Arrangements and Mechanical (Interim), you will be at the helm of large-scale naval shipbuilding projects, ensuring seamless system integration across Plans & Arrangements, Outfitting, Interior & Deck, and Structures. You will drive technical excellence, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and oversee critical Verification & Validation activities to ensure the highest quality and timely execution of subcontracted work packages.
