KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Aerospace Systems Integration: Proven experience in integrating sophisticated aerospace systems, particularly landing gear and fuel systems.
• Mechanical Engineering: Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and their application to landing gear and fuel systems.
• Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic components, actuators, and mechanisms used in landing gear systems.
• Fuel Systems Engineering: Knowledge of aircraft fuel system design, operation, and integration, including pumps, valves, and piping.
• System Testing & Validation: Experience in system verification and validation procedures, including creating test plans, driving tests, and analyzing results.
• Support in development and integration of Landing systems (Nose and Main Landing Gear, Retraction/Extension System, Steering System, Brake Control system, Brakes, Wheels, Tire Pressure Indication System, Tires).

SOFT SKILLS

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Project Management: Ability to manage integration schedules, coordinate tasks, and supervise progress to ensure timely and successful system integration. Ability to maintain documentation regularly for internal communications and team awareness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the integration of landing gear and fuel systems into aircraft, ensuring system performance, reliability, and safety.
• Develop and maintain detailed integration plans and technical documentation for landing gear and fuel system components.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure system requirements are met and all integration steps are performed accurately.
• Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations to resolve integration challenges.
• Conduct system verification and validation testing to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Support the creation and review of test plans, procedures, and reports for landing gear and fuel systems.
• Assist in risk management activities
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
