Job Description The System Lead Engineer (SLE) takes the end-to-end responsibility for the activities in the discipline system including releasing the technical maturity of the overall product and realizing the product build(s) from an engineering perspective, to take lead for requirements management and main technical communicator with customer in project Main Task as below: Quote (Shared) ▪ Project timing plan for quote Customer Application Project (Full) ▪ To manage and drive the engineering team to achieve the project goals in terms of scope, timing and quality ▪ To align interfaces between the disciplines to ensure a robust product / system ▪ To drive product architecture alignments (including functional safety) and release customized product specification ▪ To lead overall requirements engineering in the project with full responsibility for system, FSM and product related topics ▪ To take responsibility to consolidate, monitor and drive other disciplines to ensure on time execution of requirements engineering activities ▪ To ensure successful realization of the sample builds, bring together the work products of the domains, support plant activities and assure product is available according to the BOM on time ▪ To secure industrialization (sample and series build) with plant from an engineering perspective ▪ To manage all required type approvals and licenses ▪ To prepare and perform product releases to ensure all necessary activities are performed and the required release documents are available for final release by the MLC release director Other technical Activity (Shared) ▪ Take lead of customer technical communication ▪ Support technical workshops by Division and Corporation Self-development (Shared) ▪ Continuous improvements and innovation Qualifications Education MS or BS degree in electronic, software or automation engineering Required Knowledge ▪ MS or BS degree in electronic, software or automation engineering ▪ Familiar with basic automotive development/quality process ▪ Be able to work in distributed global team environment ▪ Able to learn to work with new technologies and systems ▪ Excellent engineering analysis/analytical ability ▪ Excellent communication, team, and presentation skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ▪ Must be able to travel to domestic and international locations (engineering and manufacturing sites, and customers) as needed. ▪ General knowledge of automotive electronic sensor/module/systems ▪ Proficient in the use of organization and planning methods ▪ Proficient in the use of written and spoken English, with a focus on technical topics. Required Experience ▪ 4 years or more in Automotive Industry, minimum 2 year in ADAS system engineering: ▪ Experience in driver assistance or other safety electronic products. ▪ Experience in requirements engineering/management process ▪ Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS ▪ Experience with software lifecycle management tools such as PTS/MKS Integrity ▪ Experience with FMEA methods and tools (such as APIS IQ FMEA) ▪ At least 1 complete project experience on ADAS system engineering Additional Information International company experience is a PLUS Ready to take your career to the next level?
