About the role

We are seeking a Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our IT team and support the design, implementation, administration and maintenance of the organisation's network and systems infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

* Design, configure, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP.

* Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory and Group Policy.

* Monitor network and systems performance and investigate infrastructure incidents.

* Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 and Microsoft cloud services.

* Manage user accounts, permissions, security controls, and access policies.

* Support virtualisation environments including VMware and/or Hyper-V.

* Implement and maintain network security, backup, and disaster-recovery processes.

* Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and systems issues.

* Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records.

* Liaise with vendors and service providers regarding infrastructure and technical issues.
