Description
[What the role is] The SoSI is a key member of the NexGen Programme Office and plays an important role in the implementation and realisation of the of the Next Generation Air Navigation Services (NexGen ANS) capability. [What you will be working on] As the SOSI, you will be responsible for the overall integration and performance of the integrated NexGen ANS systems. You will need to develop the SoS integration strategies, plans and schedule to ensure coherent end-to-end integration and interoperability of the NexGen ANS systems. You will also need to lead the SoS integration activities such as SoS testing to verify and validate the overall SoS functionality and performance, as well as manage the overall SoS integration programme risks. To do these, you will need to be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. [What we are looking for] Trained in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field More than 3 years of relevant experience in system engineering or a related field Good project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements Proven experience in system integration, systems engineering, or related role managing complex integration projects Proficient in development lifecycle and integration methodologies and tools Excellent written and presentation skills Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to influence and drive win-win outcomes with stakeholders Familiarity with Air Traffic Management, Communications/Navigation/Surveillance systems and aviation safety will be an advantage Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience.
