Description

Perform Functional Hazard Analyses (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA), and System Safety Assessments (SSA) in accordance with ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, and other relevant standards. Ensure all design changes are assessed for safety impact and support classification of modifications. Maintain compliance with CS 25.1309, DEF STAN 00-56, and other applicable regulations. Provide expert guidance to engineering teams on safety-related issues. Support certification and airworthiness activities, including engagement with regulatory authorities. Maintain accurate documentation of all safety activities. Drive continuous improvement in safety processes and procedures. Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a System Safety Engineering role or similar. Strong knowledge of SAE ARP4754 and ARP4761. Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills. Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced engineering environment.
