SYSTEM SUPPORT ANALYST:

On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a System Support Analyst for a short term 4-week role. This position is a remote position based out of our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

SYSTEM SUPPORT ANALYST - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This project involves providing daily support to Ontario Colleges, focusing on system health monitoring and incident response. The role requires managing and troubleshooting various systems including Dell XtremIO, Hyper-V, and Linux servers.

SYSTEM SUPPORT ANALYST - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 7 years of experience
  • Dell XtremIO
  • Hyper-V
  • Linux
  • OpenShift (Red Hat Virtualization/Oracle)
  • F5

SYSTEM SUPPORT ANALYST – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
  • Check dashboards/logs for alerts across storage, virtualization, Linux servers, load balancers, and authentication systems.
  • Verify performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
  • Handle password resets, permissions, and login/authentication issues.
  • Support application/VM teams with provisioning.
  • Investigate and resolve system issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Apply patches/updates to OS, virtualization hosts, clusters, and firmware.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates and adjust configurations.
