POSITION SUMMARY Summit Technologies is seeking a Mission Planning System Support Representative (SSR) to provide onsite technical support for U.S. Air Force mission planning operations at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. The SSR is responsible for ensuring mission planning computers, associated hardware, software applications, and digital map data remain current, secure, and fully operational. This position directly supports daily flying operations, training exercises, deployments, and real-world contingency missions by maintaining mission planning system readiness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain mission planning computer systems and associated IT equipment. * Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot mission planning software and hardware. * Ensure mission planning databases and digital map data remain current and operational. * Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues while documenting troubleshooting activities. * Coordinate with users, technical teams, and leadership to resolve technical issues through completion. * Support mission planning activities for training exercises, operational missions, and deployments. * Perform system testing following updates or maintenance activities. * Maintain system documentation and configuration records. * Provide responsive technical support to mission planning personnel. * Ensure mission planning systems meet operational readiness requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * U.S. Citizenship is required. * Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or four (4) years of relevant IT experience. * Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within six (6) months of hire to satisfy DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements. * Experience supporting Windows-based computer systems and IT hardware. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently while supporting mission-critical operations in a fast-paced environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Previous experience supporting U.S. Air Force mission planning systems. * Experience supporting deployed or OCONUS operations. * Familiarity with mission planning software, geospatial data, and military operational environments. * Experience providing customer-facing technical support in classified environments.
