Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

iRhythm is seeking a System Test Engineer to join our team working on innovative cardiac monitoring devices. In this role, you’ll help ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our wearable device and its supporting software and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate across engineering teams, design and run tests, and play a key role in delivering high-quality products that improve patient lives.
This position is located in San Francisco, CA and the role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 3 days/week, or more as needed, to use hardware and electrical lab equipment

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform system-level testing of our cardiac monitoring device and supporting software applications.
  • Design and execute manual tests to verify that the product meets requirements and functions as intended.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing) to define test strategies and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Document and communicate test results clearly, ensuring findings are traceable and actionable.
  • Investigate product issues, replicate field failures, and verify fixes before release.
  • Contribute to improving test methods, tools, and processes for greater efficiency and coverage.
