Overview Shure UK has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Internship in our System Verification Team in Edinburgh. This is a part-time, ongoing, internship is designed to work around studies, joining our team one day a week, and full time from June - August. Living locally to Edinburgh, both in and out of term-time, is a must for this role as you will be joining our dynamic team on-site in our SV lab! As an Intern at Shure, you'll join a team of passionate software developers and engineers dedicated to our products, technologies, innovation, and quality. You will gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive overview of our product lifecycle, from conception to deployment. With our global Product Development Division, you'll have the chance to collaborate with colleagues from the US, Denmark, India, and China, broadening your horizons and gaining a global perspective. Responsibilities System Verification: Automate data collection to test our products globally. As part of the SV team, ensure Shure maintains its reputation for trusted audio products. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are key. Test Automation & Data Analysis: Support development and tools to automate test procedures and data collection. Assist in analysing results to identify issues and ensure product performance meets specifications. Global Product Validation: Contribute to global test setups used across Shure’s product lines. Help maintain consistency and reliability in testing environments to support worldwide product releases. Qualifications Enthusiasm for learning and applying best practices. Ability to conduct complex tasks with detailed instructions. Proactive in seeking learning opportunities and developing technical skills beyond theoretical knowledge. Effective communication skills and an ability to collaborate well with a diverse team. Curiosity about wireless technology and willingness to work with programming languages like C, C++, and Python. Interest in real-time embedded and driver development, and automation. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
