• Completed studies in electrical engineering or computer science (university of applied sciences/technical university) or a comparable technical-scientific education
• Enthusiasm for tasks in the field of industrial and building automation
• Ideally, knowledge of typical fieldbus systems
• Experience in requirements engineering
• Knowledge in the areas of software design and modeling
• Experience in developing embedded software in C or C++ on ARM Cortex platforms

• Analysis of requirements for building and industrial automation products
• Independent development of solution concepts and implementation strategies
• Coordination with product manager and other stakeholders
• Definition of technical requirements for the embedded software
• Creating the software architecture
• Design, implementation and testing of software components on RTOS or bare-metal platforms
• Integration of software and hardware in close collaboration with hardware developers
• Integration with engineering and commissioning tools in close collaboration with engineering software developers
