Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified Systems Accountant with a passion for technology, process improvement, and data integrity. This role is ideal for someone who loves problem‑solving, thrives in collaborative environments, and enjoys working at the intersection of finance and systems. The Systems Accountant will play a key role in supporting the upcoming Oracle ERP go‑live, ensuring smooth transition, robust processes, and ongoing optimisation of our financial systems. Key Responsibilities ERP & Systems Support: Support the implementation, testing, and post‑go‑live optimisation of Oracle ERP. Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities. Work closely with IT, Finance, and external partners to resolve system issues and enhance functionality. Process & Controls Improvement: Analyse existing finance processes and identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or strengthen controls. Develop and document end‑to‑end finance processes, workflows, and system procedures. Drive continuous improvement across finance systems to improve efficiency and quality. Reporting & Data Management: Build and maintain advanced Excel models and reports to support financial operations and decision‑making. Extract, transform, and analyse data from complex ERP systems for reporting and insights. Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across systems. Stakeholder Support & Training: Partner with Finance teams to understand system needs and translate them into technical solutions. Provide ongoing support, training, and user guidance to finance and operational teams. Act as a subject‑matter expert for system functionality and process design. Skills and Experience: Required: CA/CPA Qualified Accountant (or equivalent) Strong understanding of finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Reporting. Demonstrated experience working with complex ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc.). Advanced Excel skills (power queries, lookups, pivot tables, data modelling). Proven capability in data manipulation, reconciliation, and analysis. Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Preferred: Prior experience supporting an Oracle implementation or major system upgrade. Experience with finance process redesign and automation. Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Oracle reporting tools).
