As we enter a bold new chapter under our five-year Corporate Plan, we are increasing our workforce and transforming how we plan and deliver core services. This post plays a central role in that journey.
About the role
To provide the FC&R team and other key stakeholders to review our current processes and then to assist with the tender for a cloud-based GL system - this would enable more flexibility and better reporting to reduce spreadsheet use for reporting.
In partnership with the Head of Financial Control and Reporting you will lead the end-to-end implementation of enhanced processes and procedures, spanning procurement through to maintenance, to strengthen the performance and sustainability of the new system
You will help facilitate the Commission in meeting the aims and objectives of the Corporate Plan. This includes the efficient and effective delivery of financial services to enable the Commission to deliver its objectives. To enable decision-making, maintenance of sound financial control and delivery of high quality and timely monthly and annual accounts.
Who we’re looking for

Names of educational institutions or dates of education
Employment history older than 10 years (unless directly relevant and explicitly required in the person specification)

Failure to comply with these anonymisation instructions may result in your application being withdrawn.
