Job Summary:
Performs routine installation, configuration, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of operating system work stations and servers, ensuring operating systems work together, support end-user business requirements, and function properly. Performs routine evaluation of the capabilities and limitations of new and existing technical tools and systems.
Education & Experience
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems, and one (1) year experience managing applications or servers in an IT environment.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration required:
N/A
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft server management, Azure or Amazon Web services certifications preferred.

Knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, security, software applications, and system utilities. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal, customer service, analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform routine workstation and server administration setup, testing, maintenance and support. Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot system hardware and software. Ability to monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels. Ability to perform system backup and recovery. Ability to prepare reports and maintain records and documentation.
