Adecco is actively seeking a full-time Systems Administrator to join our client’s growing manufacturing team in Belleville, ON. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage internal IT systems, networks, and user support across the organization. You’ll be responsible for maintaining hardware and software infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring reliable connectivity and system performance. Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the expansion of internal networks and systems
  • Providing user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Managing and maintaining IT hardware, including servers, switches, firewalls, routers, and wireless access points
  • Supporting printers, mobile devices, and wireless handheld terminals
  • Ensuring network uptime and managing backups
  • Maintaining IT documentation and infrastructure drawings
  • Coordinating third-party IT contractors and vendors
  • Tracking and maintaining IT assets inventory
  • Assisting with other IT systems and applications as assigned
  • Performing other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar Systems Administrator or Network Support role
  • Knowledge of Windows services and roles such as DHCP, DNS, RDP, IIS, DFS, and NTP
  • Practical experience with Office365 and Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with ESXi, Fortinet, Cisco, or Linux environments is an asset
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi mesh networks is beneficial
  • Experience managing MySQL or MS SQL databases is considered an advantage
  • Understanding of common network protocols and best practices in network design and structured cabling
  • Previous experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing environment would be a strong plus
