Description EVS is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide hands-on administration of enterprise IT systems supporting Navy training and operational environments. ** Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and secure Windows/Linux server and client systems • Manage network services, virtualization, and cloud-hosted environments • Apply patches, upgrades, backups, and system hardening • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues **Work is not remote and will be performed on-site at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, San Diego, CA & Employment would begin upon contract award. Requirements Experience & Education: • Minimum of four (4) years of systems administration experience • Experience supporting DoD or enterprise networks Clearance: • Active Secret clearance (minimum) Certifications (Required/Preferred): • CompTIA Security+ (Required) • Microsoft, Red Hat, or VMware certifications (Preferred)

Responsibilities

The Systems Administrator will maintain and secure Windows and Linux server and client systems while managing network services, virtualization, and cloud-hosted environments. They will also troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
