As a Systems Administrator, you will manage both cloud and on-premises systems, ensure environments remain secure and up to date, and help evolve infrastructure platforms that support Flowco's operational needs. You will work closely with Senior Systems Engineers and partner with Security, Network, and Service Desk teams to implement solutions that drive stability, automation, and efficiency. The Systems Administrator role supports internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer-focused support with empathy for all end users Implement, maintain, and support IT systems that align with departmental goals and business requirements Monitor and support IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and cloud resources Perform system performance monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, patching, and maintenance Administer company devices and SaaS platforms such as M365, AWS, and Slack Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, diagrams, and user training materials Support and improve automated onboarding and offboarding workflows Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, group policy, and identity-related configurations Develop or enhance scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools to automate routine tasks Collaborate with engineering and security teams to follow best practices for system performance, reliability, and compliance Participate in infrastructure improvement projects and technology rollouts Assist in evaluating new technologies and recommending solutions Qualifications Qualifications Required 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, IT operations, or a related technical role Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and system administration best practices Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and group policy Experience managing Microsoft M365 including Exchange Online and identity integrations Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS experience preferred) Proficiency with Windows Server and/or Linux administration Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms Ability to write, modify, or troubleshoot scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python Strong communication skills with the ability to document and convey technical concepts clearly Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to travel up to 25% of the time Hybrid role operating within the company’s area of operation Preferred (not required) AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, SysOps Administrator, or willingness to obtain within 6 months) Experience with identity management and access control tools Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, containerD, etc.) Exposure to monitoring tools and automation frameworks
