The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing Hirschbach’s hybrid infrastructure, including Azure cloud services, on-premise technologies (VMware, V7000), and enterprise backup and telephony systems. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of systems critical to business operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, self-driven professional capable of taking full ownership of the environment and driving improvements across systems, connectivity, backups, and telephony.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• Strong experience with VMware, Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and networking fundamentals.
• Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot enterprise backup systems, Rubrik experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with V7000 storage, hybrid AD environments, and cloud telephony platforms (8x8 or similar).
• Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues and implement practical, long-term solutions.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and proactive system monitoring
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when supporting internal teams.
• Patient and responsive when handling time-sensitive issues.
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
