Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s computer systems and networks. You will ensure that our systems operate efficiently and securely, providing technical support to our staff and implementing necessary upgrades or enhancements. Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system management tools - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability - Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus software - Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans - Collaborate with IT team members to design and implement network infrastructure - Maintain security protocols and implement necessary updates or patches - Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues - Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends Experience: - Proven work experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role - Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, Windows operating systems, and virtualization technologies - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools - Experience with solution architecture design and implementation - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and VPN technologies - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues - Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
