Description TRISTAR is seeking a talented Systems Administrator II / Lab Manager to support the Intelligence & Cyberspace Operations of the Azurite Program. Job Description: The Sys Admin II / Lab Manager will install, configure, and troubleshoot specialized software development platforms and tools, as well as deploy and manage software hosting technologies (e.g., virtual machines, containers, cloud instances) for experimental applications. Active system administration, performance monitoring, and ensuring the stability and availability of these unique R&D environments to facilitate rapid prototyping and experimentation. Requirements Position Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance. In person / onsite work expected with the Gov. customer a minimum of 3 days per week. Education and/or Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience. Must already have or be able to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to start date. Additional Information: Lab Management will be required to provision, operate, and maintain specialized Information Technology (IT) systems and networks. This includes setting up and configuring various network components such as LANs and infrastructure tailored for R&D projects.
