Description EOA Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for: Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS). Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches. Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.•Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality. Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply patches and upgrades. Troubleshoot server issues. Administer customer accounts Deploy monitoring tools. Deploy applications and tools. Assist with escalated customer tickets. Installation and cabling of equipment Requirements To be considered for this position you must have the following: Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance IAT Level 2 Certification Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines) Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi) Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Responsibilities

The Systems Administrator will create and maintain RedHat Linux virtual machines within an AWS cloud environment while ensuring IAVA compliance. They are also responsible for performing system backups, applying security patches, and providing technical support to developers and DevOps teams.
