Description EOA Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for: Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring & problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc. Configure and manage Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems, installs/loads operating system software and patches to maintain security compliance, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability & performance. Support the design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware. Requirements To be considered for this position you must have the following: Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance IAT Level 2 Certification Linux Systems Administration experience Patching and updating Linux distributions regarding security findings. Adding / Removing users and setting permissions to meet certain user privileges. System monitoring for health and status with monitoring tools like NAGIOS. Working with STIGs and fixing/updating vulnerabilities with STE/STN findings. Renew Linux server certificates and applying updates to TLS security versions. Experience working with ISSOs during SCA (security control assessment) testing to go through over 400 SCTM (security controls traceability matrix). Working with automation software such as ANSIBLE to streamline updates and patching. Updating documentation such as SOPs with problems and solutions for the team’s knowledge base on Confluence. Experience working with VMWARE is helpful. Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
