About the role Kaimetrix is seeking System Administrator – Level III professionals to support enterprise IT infrastructure operations within a secure, mission-driven environment. This role is responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing systems, servers, and network resources to ensure consistent, secure, and reliable performance in support of mission operations. What you'll do Administer and maintain enterprise servers, operating systems, and networked environments to ensure system availability and performance Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions in accordance with security policies and operational requirements Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and performance tuning to ensure reliable operation of IT infrastructure Execute system patching, updates, and configuration changes to maintain compliance with cybersecurity standards Support backup and recovery operations to ensure data protection and system continuity Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical problems in a timely manner Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency Create and maintain standard operating procedures, system documentation, and knowledge base materials Support system security efforts by implementing required controls and maintaining compliance with applicable IT security requirements Assist with system upgrades, technology refresh efforts, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities Ensure users have secure and reliable access to systems and services required for mission execution Qualifications Education/Experience: Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in system administration or related IT infrastructure roles Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience Certifications: Baseline cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CASP+, or equivalent certification aligned to DoD requirements Clearance: Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain Kaimetrix, L.L.C. is an equal opportunity employer.
