LIVERPOOL, HYBRID

We’re looking for an experienced System Administrator to play a central role in ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient running of our IT infrastructure, networks, and services.
You’ll be managing, configuring, and maintaining a broad range of hardware, software, and cloud services, while also contributing to the design and delivery of new solutions. By proactively resolving issues, implementing improvements, and supporting projects, you’ll play a key role in minimising disruption, safeguarding systems, and enabling the organisation to achieve its mission.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE:

  • Possession of or studying towards BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT or equivalent
  • A good working knowledge of M365 services, including Microsoft 365 apps for Enterprise, Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams.
  • Backup solutions for on-premise, cloud and M365
  • M365 tenant administration (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Windows Server role services (Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, IIS, Hyper-V, Remote Access, WDS & MDT, Print Services)
  • Storage administration (NetApp ONTAP, Synology)
  • Network configuration and maintenance (Routing, VLANs, NATs, Firewalls, VPNs)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventories, documentation, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues and users, escalating issues when required.
  • Contribute to planning, improvements, and long-term development of IT services.
