Description:
Reports to: The Director - IT in the Corporate Secretary Department
Location: Kuujjuaq or Montréal
Status of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: According to the Salary Scale

Responsibilities
- Maintain the server, storage and network infrastructures;
- Ensure servers, computers, network infrastructure and physical infrastructure are secure;
- Create and update technical documentation;
- Optimize and maintain infrastructure monitoring tools;
- Guide and assist other IT staff in technical problem resolution;
- Be available to travel, as requested;
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position or as requested by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field;
- Good communication skills in at least two (2) of the three (3) languages: Inuktitut, English and/or French;
- Two (2) years of experience in a system administrator role;
- Demonstrate analytical capacity and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrate strong knowledge or networking, Windows server, Exchange, Fortinet equipment, VMWare, Hyper V;
- Knowledge of MS SQL, O365, powershell;
- Experience with IP telephony;
- In depth knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations, routing;
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS solutions.
