POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Systems Administrator who is not only skilled at keeping systems running smoothly but also motivated to guide and mentor other technology professionals. This role serves as a trusted escalation point for complex issues, working closely with Technical Support Analysts, internal customers, and vendors to maintain and improve our IT environment. In addition to hands-on server and desk-side responsibilities, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing expertise, strengthening team capability, and helping shape best practices for system administration.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong customer service orientation with a collaborative, mentoring mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated expertise in system administration fundamentals, PC/server hardware, and enterprise software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and continuous learning.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise-wide system management.
  • Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
    Must be able to pass a criminal background check as well as a drug test.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
