As Systems Administrator, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a fast-moving, fluid environment, and be passionate about implementing change, great processes and procedures in a commercial setting at a fast-growing technology company. GENERAL OVERVIEW The System Administrator is primarily responsible for supporting our customer-facing and -supporting environments’ infrastructure. Some advanced technical experience is necessary, but more importantly, this should be an individual who is eager to learn, highly customer focused, patient, an effective communicator, self-initiating, has a positive attitude, and is able to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely fashion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Core duties and responsibilities include the following: · Embodies Metrc’s Leadership Principles · Manage Service Requests, Incidents, and Problems through a ticketing system · Help ensure day-to-day operations of customer Infrastructure · Answer inbound service calls as necessary · Understand PowerShell scripting, automating, monitoring, and alerting · Advanced troubleshooting and administration of Windows-based applications, Operating Systems (Desktop and Server), and Server Roles (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, DFS, Print Server, File Server, Terminal Server, IIS, etc.) · Administer and troubleshoot database technologies/software · Perform advanced troubleshooting of Wi-Fi/Network · Participate in an after-hours On Call rotation · May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES · Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or equivalent experience. · One to two years of systems administration experience. · Experience with managing Azure VMs and working In the Azure portal · Experience with various Microsoft Office products, applications, and services · Proficient with the O365 portal and Microsoft’s Entra ID · Experience with PowerShell · Experience with Microsoft IT infrastructure standards and practices.
