As a Systems Administrator/Network Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our clients and our company. Your expertise in various operating systems, virtualization, and network administration will be crucial for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Operating Systems:

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy), MacOS, Unix, Linux.

Virtualization Tools:

• Experience with Hyper-V or other virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM).
• Knowledge of VM provisioning, snapshots, and live migration.

Networking:

• Familiarity with networking (switches, routers).
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing protocols.

Scripting and Automation:

• Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools

Security Best Practices:

• Implement firewall rules, SSL certificates, and access controls.
• Monitor system logs for anomalies.

General:

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience.
• Education – bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP) are desired.
