The role is an Ongoing Full-time position. Demonstrated experience and understanding of Windows workstation and server Operating Systems, including knowledge of server hardware components and products and application services, such as Microsoft 365 application suite (including MS Teams Calling), Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra Connect and Azure Multi Factor Authentication. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of systems management tools and products, such as Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Microsoft System Centre Suite (Configuration Manager, Operations Manager and Virtual Machine Manager), Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring tool and inTune platform. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of security software and services and vulnerability management solutions, such as Defender for Endpoint, Qualys and Mimecast. Strong understanding of core backup concepts and demonstrated experience in managing and supporting backup solutions, such as Veeam Backup and Replication solution and AvePoint Cloud Backup. Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as Microsoft Hyper-V, and cloud computing concepts and platforms. Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology or related fields and/or equivalent relevant professional experience. Knowledge of scripting/automation (PowerShell) is an advantage. Politically neutral with no current or past affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory criminal record check result.
