We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Systems Administrator to assist with the day-to-day IT support for our staff, ERP systems and infrastructure of the business and help grow our IT services in line with business objectives, reporting to the IT Manager.
The role is based at our Offices in Heathfield.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Hands-on experience supporting IT services in a similar role
  • Solid experience of Microsoft based environments – Server, Windows 10/11, Office 365
  • Demonstrable experience of troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Experience of providing support for a variety of hardware – laptops, desktops, handhelds
  • Solid, proficient diagnostic skills across a range of system types and applications
  • Understanding TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, firewalls and VPN technologies
  • Experience or working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Solid experience with IT Helpdesk systems and processes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical terminology to people with limited or no technical understanding

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Recognised industry qualification (CompTIA A+/N+; Microsoft MTA)
  • Experience in implementing data protection compliance requirements (PCI, GDPR)
  • Knowledge and exposure in the use of the following would be advantageous:
  • NetSuite ERP
  • VoIP and Contact centre systems
  • Magento or other eCommerce platform experience
Responsibilities
  • Internal IT system administrator for all internal servers, network infrastructure, telephony and business systems – in a primary Windows based environment
  • Log, respond and manage to resolution all 1st and 2nd Line Help Desk requests
  • Take responsibility for IT equipment and asset management
  • Administration and troubleshooting of the company ERP and ecommerce systems
  • Assist in the rollout of new hardware and software
  • General Network/Infrastructure support
  • Assist where necessary with any IT projects/initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process and technology improvement
  • Liaise with external suppliers and support agencies for the ongoing support and maintenance of relevant hardware and software
