Overview:
We are seeking a System Administrator to provide Tier 2 technical support and manage our IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents via our ticketing system, maintaining and upgrading servers, PCs, and related hardware/software, and resolving technical problems. This role requires hands-on administration of our Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, user/group management, and mail flow configuration. You will also collaborate with stakeholders, identify opportunities for automation, and contribute to system improvements.
Responsibilities:

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent computer related degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 or more years of technical experience required in Information Technology.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience within the Microsoft 365 environment
  • Strong understanding of cyber security best practices
Responsibilities
  • Multi-task and work effectively on a team with a deep understanding of M365 in relation to the business, as well as independently, in a high-paced environment amid multiple projects, shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Champion the adoption of Office 365 services as appropriate for our business
  • Comfort being a self-starter with time management skills, and ability to work independently
  • Maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring
  • Promote best practices and stay up to date on communications about new and changed
  • Participate in IT related projects.
  • Responsible for tracking and documenting service requests and their solutions within the IT ticketing system.
  • Manage and deploy patches and updates for operating systems
  • Create, manage, and deploy system images for workstations
  • Escalating tickets to the appropriate IT personnel as required and in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as required.
