Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including performing regular health checks, patching, basic upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
Respond to and troubleshoot technical issues raised to the Level 3 service queue, ensuring operational stability while escalating more complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
Participate in and support continuous improvement efforts to maintain stable, scalable, and secure IT systems.
Learn and assist with backups, disaster recovery processes, and performance monitoring tasks as part of building a solid foundational knowledge of system administration.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, processes, and resolutions to promote operational continuity and team knowledge sharing.
Provide on call technical support when required.
Key Requirements:
Exposure to some of the following: VMware, Windows Server, Citrix, M365, FortiGate, Aruba, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to complex environments.
Exposure to system administration tasks such as configuration and routine troubleshooting, with eagerness to further develop technical expertise.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills to contribute effectively to team collaboration and project efforts.
Understanding of IT operational requirements for production environments, including the importance of service continuity, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring.
