The Systems Administrator plays a key role in keeping the technical environment secure, stable and running smoothly. Working closely with the IT Manager and Senior Systems Administrator, you'll troubleshoot and resolve Level 3 escalations and tickets, monitor systems and networks, and escalate complex issues when needed.

This is a great opportunity to build your technical expertise while working with enterprise-grade systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including performing regular health checks, patching, basic upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot technical issues raised to the Level 3 service queue, ensuring operational stability while escalating more complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement efforts to maintain stable, scalable, and secure IT systems.
  • Learn and assist with backups, disaster recovery processes, and performance monitoring tasks as part of building a solid foundational knowledge of system administration.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, processes, and resolutions to promote operational continuity and team knowledge sharing.
  • Provide on call technical support when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Exposure to some of the following: VMware, Windows Server, Citrix, M365, FortiGate, Aruba, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to complex environments.
  • Exposure to system administration tasks such as configuration and routine troubleshooting, with eagerness to further develop technical expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to contribute effectively to team collaboration and project efforts.
  • Understanding of IT operational requirements for production environments, including the importance of service continuity, disaster recovery, and proactive monitoring.

Key Benefits:

  • Stable environment with a strong team culture and high tenure.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to system design, deployments, and infrastructure projects, gradually increasing involvement in project-oriented tasks.
  • Career growth opportunities within an expanding organization.
  • Collaborative culture where you can be involved in decision making.
