Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator located on Ford Island in Hawaii to support the HQ USINDOPACOM J76, K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center to enhance and upgrade a myriad of applications and services, in an enterprise environment. As part of team, you will participate in implementation and maintenance of Cloud and On-Prem IT Infrastructure to support the customer. JOB DESCRIPTION: · Provide level II and III systems support to Helpdesk and staff of PWC. · Create and manage user and group accounts across enclaves of responsibilities · Create and maintain baseline system images and configuration using MDT, MECM,, DSC Kickstart, and Ansible. · Respond to and implement Cyber Tasking Orders. · Apply patches to systems and conduct regression tests. · Apply STIGs and conduct regression tests. · Set up and montitor backups. Restore files as needed. Routinely test restoral process. · Monitor cloud consumption and cost. · Monitor hardware health. · Monitor services: Domain Controller, Email, File and Print Servers, DNS, SharePoint, ADFS, WAP, OOS, DNS, SQL, ClearPass, DHCP, MECM, VDI, Wyse Management, Log Consolidation, Fortra, PKI. · Provide cloud engineering support: Entra, Intune, Azure, M365. · Upgrade and configure infrastructure hardware and software. · Update HW/SW List. · Update Systems and Network Diagrams. · Write and update SOPs and documentation. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Bachelors and five (5)+ years of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. · Experience working with operating systems such as Windows 11, Windows Server, Linux, ESXi. · Working knowledge of network protocols: DHCP, DNS, SMTP, etc. · Working knowledge of infrastructure hardware and appliances. · Working knowledge of security compliance in a DoD environment: STIGs, GPOs, SCAP, FedRAMP · Foundational knowledge of cloud and cloud technology. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification such as Security+ CE, CySA+, CISSP, CASP etc. REQUIRED CLEARANCES: · Must be able to obtain a full TS/SCI Clearance · Must be a current US Citizen
