Is NOT on an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)   ​Job Responsibilities This Systems Administration Specialist I, position is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the server and cloud environment. Provide solutions to enhance processes through automation and resolve complex technical issues. Key responsibilities include hardware and software installation, security implementation, system performance monitoring, and troubleshooting server-related issues. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that our server infrastructure meets the needs of the organization and supports our business objectives.   Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support for global administration of Active Directory, VMWare, Windows, and Cloud environments Implement security measures to protect server infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyber threats. Determine requirements, plan, and implement major product upgrades on both hardware and software. Work on projects/teams comprised of IT technical experts and business representatives. Support monitoring systems that span the server and cloud infrastructure Coordinate and execute server-related integration processes, leveraging best practices to ensure efficient and seamless technology transitions. Identify trends and proactively forecast future platform requirements. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to server-related emergencies outside of regular business hours. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the company’s strategic objectives. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent relevant experience. 4-7 years of experience in supporting Enterprise Server environments. 4–7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration, including support and design of enterprise environments. Active Directory skills in management and troubleshooting across a forest and multiple domains. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, and Python, with a focus on process automation. Hypervisor experience, configuring, maintaining, and supporting an Enterprise environment (e.g., VMware). Desired experience with Linux and Kubernetes. Disaster recovery skills on Active Directory, Windows Servers, and various applications. Highly motivated, self-starter, customer-centric, and the ability to work without supervision. Self-motivated, self-starter, customer-focused, and capable of working independently. Ability to troubleshoot related issues and perform root cause analysis.
