OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
  • Must be able to carry and transport up to 70 pounds up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Providing Tier 3 technical support, including troubleshooting and professional communication.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Tier 1/Tier 2 responsibilities (triaging tickets, basic support) in order to support those teams.
  • Acting as a point of escalation and coach for our Tier 1/Tier 2 teams, analyze ticket data for improvement opportunities, and serve as a business partner to other departments and initiatives.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems to include routine maintenance, patching, updates, performance monitoring and troubleshooting server-related issues.
  • Managing Active Directory; including user accounts, groups, OUs, permissions and implementing and maintaining role-based access controls (RBAC).
  • Developing and applying Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security policies and configurations.
  • Utilizing PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks.
  • Developing and implementing patch management strategies to ensure system security and stability.
  • Assisting with the administration and management of SaaS applications and demonstrating a working knowledge of basic networking concepts.
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and best practices, and document solutions for team sharing.
  • Participating in after-hours on-call support rotation and TS maintenance windows for system upgrades and patching.
  • Working with vendors to resolve issues (onsite or phone) and performing Systems Administration tasks in various platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Zoom, Amazon Connect).
  • Creating and implementing new policies and procedures for software and hardware changes following published ITIL practices.
  • Partnering with Team Leads and Managers on training and policy and procedure implementation.
  • Engaging in continual service improvement processes so we remain efficient and effective as a team and organization.
