SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a technically skilled and security-conscious Hybrid Systems Administrator and Technical Support Analyst to join our IT team in the banking sector. This role combines hands-on user support with back-end systems administration, as well as process automation using Microsoft Power Automate (or other tools) to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings a proactive mindset, strong customer service, and experience supporting secure, compliant environments. Travel will be required between Erie and Chatauqua county branches and offices as required to support systems and staff in these locations.

Key Responsibilities:End-User/Desktop Support:

  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 desktop support for employees across branches and headquarters.
  • Maintain Associated Service Level Agreements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and secure mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and banking applications.
  • Support users in secure access to critical systems (core banking platforms, remote desktop, secure email, etc.).
  • Log and manage incidents and service requests through a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice).

Systems Administration:

  • Manage and monitor Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
  • Maintain and secure Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Install and Maintain other Bank software including core banking platforms, VOIP, Call Center, and other business applications as necessary.
  • Maintain and Monitor patch management, backup solutions, and endpoint protection tools.
  • Maintain and secure network hardware, including switches and Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure system integrity and compliance with FFIEC, GLBA, and internal security policies.
  • Provide recommendations for system improvement.
  • Provide Level 3 Support to end users.
  • Assist in coordinating activities of onsite and offsite service vendors

Microsoft Power Automate / Workflow Automation / Report Generation:

  • Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows to streamline workflows across departments.
  • Integrate automation with Microsoft 365 apps, SharePoint, and banking-specific platforms as needed.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver secure, scalable solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for automations and ensure audit readiness.
  • Utilze Power BI and other reporting tools to create and maintain

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support and Systems Administration.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft 365 ecosystem, or other Process Automation software or wiliness and ability to learn.
  • Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, and Windows Server management.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security, email encryption, and secure mobile device management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong focus on customer service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in financial services or a regulated industry (banking, insurance, etc.).
  • Understanding of banking compliance and cybersecurity standards (FFIEC, GLBA, NIST).
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred).
  • Microsoft or CompTIA certifications (e.g., MCSA, Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+).
  • Experience with VMware or Hyper-V, backup solutions, and Intune/Endpoint Manager.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act regulations and all other regulatory, security and Bank policies and procedures.
  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner so that a positive working relationship with customers, co-workers, company employees, managers, and board members exists.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stretch and carry up to 25 pounds and be able to climb stairs while carrying equipment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to all branch locations Erie County and Chautauqua County at any time as needed.
  • Occasional after-hours support may be required for critical updates or maintenance.
  • Associate degree or higher in technology field and or equivalent work experience – Preferred
