QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent education and experience.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in enterprise system administration and architecture.
  • Expert-level certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCAP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional).
  • Deep expertise in:
  • Experience with DevOps practices and familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure
  • Proven track record in global rollouts, mergers/acquisitions IT integration, and multi-region deployments.
  • Windows Server (2008–2022) and hybrid environments.
  • Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview.
  • Advanced scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Enterprise monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Identity and access management (Azure AD, Okta, LDAP, SAML, OAuth).
  • Networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and load balancing.

Responsibilities

This senior-level position is responsible for the strategic design, deployment, and governance of enterprise IT systems and solutions across global environments. The role demands deep technical expertise, leadership, and innovation.

  • Lead enterprise-wide IT initiatives, including architecture design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Take a technical leadership role in the development and implementation of Identity project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
  • Drive digital transformation efforts, integrating cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
  • Develop and enforce enterprise IT governance policies, security standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
  • Architect and implement zero-trust security models, identity and access management (IAM), and advanced threat protection.
  • Oversee disaster recovery planning, business continuity strategies, and high-availability system design.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in complex global deployments and migrations.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, edge computing, containerization).
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business goals.
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level administrators; lead internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Conduct root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews for major incidents.
  • Author and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
