Description

The Systems Analyst - Advanced will support the Office of Information Technology in documenting critical business processes, analyzing current business functions for efficiency and effectiveness, and assisting in process redesign, development, and testing. This role involves working on financial systems and complex business processes, particularly in the context of an ongoing business transformation project. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in re-engineering affected business areas, developing, maintaining, and acting as a subject matter expert for applications that support large-scale, cross-functional financial processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years as a Lead Developer or Development Manager.
  • 5+ years of experience working with development technologies, including:
  • CA Gen

JOB-SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with DB2 for z/OS, Oracle databases, or similar relational databases.
  • Proficient in Computer Associates’ CA Gen for web server, online, and batch procedures.
  • Experience with CA Gen Com Proxy service.
  • Knowledge of Active Server Pages (Classic ASP), including VB and J-script.
  • Experience with IBM Z-Server, CICS, JCL, and COBOL.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in developing and maintaining software systems that handle complex financial business processes.
